Hypnotherapy, Coaching and Mentoring

At Tranquil Minds, I offer coaching and mentoring style therapy, alongside hypnotherapy.

This is offered face to face and online to suit your needs, and to fit flexibly around your commitments.

​

I'm a Master Practitioner of both Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), and Hypnotherapy. 

​

NLP is the single best way to take control of your own mind, and consistently achieve your goals.  Not just while we work together, but for life.  You'll gain the tools and insight to enable you to utilise the skills and gifts you already posses, add to these, and use them to maximum effect.

​

I've helped professionals understand where they want to go in their career (and how to get there), enabled people to overcome anxiety, removed the desire to eat certain foods, removed night time problems such as teeth grinding. 

 

Hypnosis is an excellent tool that often assists with removing a problem, and enabling individuals to let go of worry, anxiety and past traumas.

Hypnosis

One of the most important things that you'll learn about hypnosis, is that all hypnosis is "self-hypnosis".  For hypnosis to be effective, you must accept what is being suggested to you.  Which means you're in absolute control.

Once you know that you're in control, you can feel free to relax, and allow your unconscious mind to do the real work; because this is where all change takes place.

Neurolinguistic Programming NLP

Neurolinguistic Programming, commonly referred to as NLP is used to great effect to enable individuals to understand how their mind works, consciously and unconsciously, which then allows you to take absolute control of whatever your goals for life are.

For some this is overcoming anxiety, for others this is achieving a goal - and even establishing what the goal is. 

Once you learn how to take control of your own mind, there is no way to unlearn this powerful skill.

Limiting Beliefs

Limiting beliefs are often the cause of many of our behaviours that we wish we could change.  Together we can work together to identify these, and change them.

An example of a limiting belief could be, "I just can't stop eating chocolate.  Once it's open I have to finish it".  We can change that.

Goal setting

Did you know that it's possible to install a strategy for success?  Top athletes use the principles of NLP to install a sports strategy for the most effective way to take a penalty, run the fastest mile, swim the perfect stroke.

Whatever your goals, you can use this, and many other techniques to achieve whatever you want.

Anxiety

Hypnosis and NLP combined are an effective way to understanding the causes of anxiety, and how you can manage this differently.

In our sessions you'll learn about yourself, and how you process the environment around you, and why this may sometimes lead you to a negative experience - and crucially, how to change that.

Behavioural change

Behavioural change refers to things like smoking cessation, dietary change, self talk and so much more.

 

Self talk is how you talk to yourself.  You hear yourself more than you hear anyone else, the practice of learning how to do that to best effect can be transformative and is best done in conjunction with other NLP techniques, and even better when embedded with hypnosis.

"My dietary weakness has always been white bread in its many forms. For as long as I can recall it was my go to food when I was in a hurry, when I was cold, when I was needing a pick-me-up, actually anytime. Virtually every meal involved bread, and the problem with that was that it was accompanied by butter and various unhealthy toppings. This also had an impact on my weight and bloating was common.
